Name change for Chiranjeevi Sarja's next
Sandalwood seems to be running out of film titles. With as many as four film chambers dispensing titles for films, many filmmakers are finding that the titles they sought was already registered by someone else. Meantime, Chiranjeevi Sarja’s latest film is being made without a title, at least for the time being. Bhairavawas the title the makers had zeroed in on when the film was being scripted.

But when the film was officially launched with a muhurat last week, it was announced that the title is not finalised.
Director Shiva Thejas said, “We never revealed that Bhairava was the official title. Yes, we had thought of that name but the general opinion was that the title needed to be more trendy and sound modern. The story is set in the current times and touches on contemporary issues. There was a disconnect with the title Bhairava and the story. But we have not decided on the new name yet.”
Shooting for the film commenced last weekend in Mysuru. “It is an action film with lots entertainment elements. The first schedule in Mysuru is for 20 days. We are shooting in the market area, Gosai Ghat, and several well-known streets of the city. Fortunately, there was rain a few days ago and it is not as sultry as we had expected. In fact, there is some chill during the nights. We have had a pleasant shooting schedule so far,” he said. There was shooing for the film on Sunday, too.
Arun Ramdas has written the story for the film, one of the rare original films for Chiru. Tejas has written the screenplay and is directing the film. HC Venu is the cinematographer and Suraag Sadhu Kokila is the music composer. Amrutha Iyengar is one of the two leading ladies.
